It is conveniently located at 745 Highway 45, Pelican Lake, Wisconsin. The hotel is listed in both National and Wisconsin Historical Register. Over a hundred years of history: The hotel was originally built in 1898. It was first remodeled in 1912 with the addition of bricks. It was destroyed by fire in 1926 and was later rebuilt with the same frames of the building in 1928 which is now the current look of the hotel. For decades the hotel was run as a hotel and restaurant and was the center of activities in the old days. Home for many families: There's an instant feeling of home once you enter into the facility (We rented the Hotel for our own wedding in 2010. We liked it so much we bought it.). The kitchen was once a commercial kitchen which is big and fully equipped with appliances, kitchen utensils, and dinnerware. Every room is spacious enough for big groups. The dining area seats 50 people, and the bar seats about 20 people at the bar and tables. The building is about 9500 square feet. The outdoor ground is huge enough to park cars, recreational vehicles, and tents. There will be nobody there except the renters, so you would feel the privacy of your own home. Some of our Families have been making memories in the hotel for 20+ years for their annual family reunions. Fun in the lake: The hotel is situated on the 3600 acre Pelican Lake. It has 330 ft of lakefront. It is facing west, so you'll enjoy the exquisite sunset. There's a pier in the facility to park boats or to just sit on the bench to enjoy watching activities on the lake. Sandy beach is just few minutes away. Swimming, kayaking, canoeing, boating, fishing, tubing, and water skiing are the most common fun to do in the lake. The town is also ideal for bike riding if you like riding under the canopy of trees. The town is quiet, so if you are someone getting tired of the city noise, then this place is ideal for you.

Moccasin Lake Retreat is family owned lakefront property (approximately 2.3 acres of property and 200 feet of lake frontage). Open to Adults 26 and up. The lake boasts clean swimming water and great fishing. The entire property is very clean and cozy, unplug and enjoy each other's company. The main house (sleeps 6) and guest suite (sleeps 2) are fully stocked with linens, towels, etc., the kitchen is also fully stocked with dishes and cleaning supplies. Paper products such as toilet paper and paper towel are also provided. Outdoor fire pit, outdoor gas and charcoal grills. The property is sprayed for mosquitoes & ticks regularly by a local company, Mosquito Squad. There is a great dock and the small public landing is three properties down from ours. The lake is typically very quiet during the week but can get quiet busy on the weekends between Memorial Day and Labor Day. We have a great indoor wood-burning fireplace for chilly nights (we furnish the wood). Also, wood for outdoor fire pit lakeside provided. Comfy outdoor furniture with cushions. We have a 5 night minimum stay this season. Base rate per night for up to 4 people in the main house is $299.00, each additional person is $25.00 per night. This cabin is on Upper Post Lake in the town of Elcho. The lakes include Upper and Lower Post lakes and a portion of the Wolf River. There is approx. 1500 acres of water to enjoy. Good boating, canoeing , kayaking , skiing, and fishing on the water. The area also includes ATV trails , great snowmobiling , biking , hiking and several great golf courses in the area. The cabin faces the west for great sunsets at the end of the day as you relax on the patio or around the fire pit. The cabin has a large windows to enjoy the view of the lake which is only 75 feet away on a nice level lot with no stairs to the lake. The cabin has three bedrooms and a large loft for sleeping and relaxing. The great room has large windows and is joined by a large dining area and great kitchen area. It has a full bath and a bath with a shower. The kitchen has a stove , microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffer pot and all pots and pans along with all dishes and silverware also a washer and dryer. The cabin also has air conditioning if it gets to hot and humid, but all sleeping areas have ceiling fans to help cool the rooms. Outdoors we have a small deck and a nice patio area, a gas grill is included. A nice dock to secure your boat to , if you have one to bring along. We also have boat rentals in the area if you choose to rent a boat. Great fishing from the dock for Northerns, bass, walleyes , crappies and other pan fish. The dock also has a nice bench to sit on and enjoy the sun and water. Elcho which is 7 miles away has a grocery store, gas stations and several nice places to eat. We also have a couple of nice places to eat on the lake. Guests will need to bring there own towels,pillows, groceries, sun lotion etc. as none is provided. We expect our guests to keep and clean the cabin as they found it as we have taken great care to keep the cabin in the best shape possible. We do not allow pets or smoking on the property. Minimum age for the renter is 25 years old and we have a limit of 6 people in the cabin. Check in on Saturday after 2:00 PM and check out the next Saturday before 10:00 AM .

Newly remodeled cottages are fully equipped for light housekeeping and hot and cold running water, inside toilets, showers, cooking utensils, and bedding. All cottages overlook the lake and have screened porches. We do not furnish bath towels, dish towels, and paper products. Peak season begins Memorial Day weekend and ends Labor Day weekend. Before and after the regular season, we rent cabins on a daily basis @ $95 per day for the Mallard and Crane, $110 for the Loon, and $125 per the Eagle. Check in time 2:00 PM Saturday. Checkout time is 10:00 AM the following Saturday for weekly rentals. Bringing pets is discouraged. Pets, if brought are allowed on cabin porches only and must be on a leash on resort grounds. Owners are responsible for removal of pet litter. $25 a week per animal will be applied. An Aluma Craft boat s provided with each cottage rental. Please follow all Wisconsin boat regulations. We encourage you to bring your own life preservers and boat lights. Aluma Craft boats do not have an outboard motor. If you bring your own boat, feel free to tie up to one of our peers. It is recommended to bring a long extension cord if you wish to charge the battery. Outdoor benches and picnic tables are located throughout the resort grounds. There is a small playground for children and a swimming area. Outdoor charcoal grills are available for your use as well. We also have two horseshoe and a volleyball court. In addition, we have several popular lawn games available as well. There are 200 miles of ATV and snowmobile trails that are easily accessible from the resort. We have a full service bar where you can buy cold six packs, soda, candy, ice, pizza, and other items. You can fish off any of the five piers and a fish cleaning building is located on the grounds. A bait shop is located approximately 1.5 miles away. Public boat launch is approximately 3/4 of a mile away. We are located in the small village of Post Lake. Approximately five miles from Post Lake is Elcho. Elcho has restaurants, stores, post office, barber shop, laundromat, churches, and a bank. An ATM is located on site.

The dining room features a long wood table with 2 benches and 2 chairs that will seat 10 overlooking the outdoor deck and the lake. The large gathering room highlighting a gas field stone fireplace that will warm you up on the cooler nights. 2 full size power reclining sofas and 2 comfy chairs for relaxing after a long day of fun on the lake. For those that enjoy music a Bluetooth enabled stereo receiver with 4 speakers inside and 1 outside. Master bedroom offers a king size bed with a fluffy duvet to snuggle in, large walk in closet and 50” smart TV. Off the bedroom is the master bath with stand alone shower and Jacuzzi tub. Second bedroom upstairs has a queen bed. There is a den that has a 43” smart TV, convertible sofa (double bed) along with reading chair and ottoman. Downstairs offers a large TV/game room with another gas fireplace, 65” smart TV, DVD player, sofa, love seat, high top table with 8 chairs and round poker table that has 4 additional leaves and 8 chairs. Games, books, puzzles and a "foosball" table are part of this downstairs walk out. A full bathroom and 2 more bedrooms are downstairs. The first bedroom offers another king bed and crib (can be stored if not needed) and the second bedroom has a queen bed and 1 twin bunk bed set that sleeps 2. The outside upper level deck and screened in porch offer dining and additional seating areas to watch the sunset and listen to nature. For fun, we offer 4 adult kayaks, 2 children kayaks, (along with paddles and PFD’s), fishing poles, basketball hoop with basketball, corn hole game, and frisbees. There is a 90’ dock to moor your boat (you can rent one at Shoeder's Marine), or cast your line for fishing. In the front yard a classic tree house for the kids to play. Inside the tree house are 2 hammocks and small table with chairs. After a day of fun, relax by the fire pit at the lake shore with plenty of firewood, sticks for roasting marshmallows and Adirondack chairs to enjoy the North Woods experience. We have spaced our reservations so there is a vacant day between rentals. This will give us time to follow CDC Covid-19 cleaning protocols.

Affectionately named "The guesthouse" this 1,500 square foot House features five bedrooms and three bathrooms. It is well appointed with everything you need for your stay, including a full kitchen, plus a fieldstone fireplace for those chilly Fall and Winter evenings. Also included is a charcoal grill, picnic table and campfire ring, as well as a 12 foot boat for use throughout your stay.The guest house is made for big groups and accommodates up to 10 guests. Rates are based on 6 guests with additional guests at $10 per person per day or $50 per person per week. Dogs welcome with additional pet fee.
